Preview Adelaide Test 2012

Gday fellow supporters,

Im heading down to watch the Test next week and just wondering if any of you cricket lovers could provide a touch of info for me. Haven't been to "Our Oval" for the cricket in years.

Looking at just walking into the general admission area on the last two days, hoping for a close match that goes the distance.

Im gathering the general admission is the grassed area around the old score board. So, are you allowed deck/camping chairs in ?.........and would my chances be ok at just walking in without a ticket on both days ?

I'm more worried about the sunday than monday at not being able to get in, given the ground has limited seating at the moment. Any ideas and thoughts muchly appreciated.

Also, this thread can be used as a feed back as the game progresses

Might want to check if tickets are available. I think there are a few days that are sold out. GA this year is around the hill only. Had a look the other day, there's decking all the way behind the scoreboard allocated for bars. Looks amazing. Ill be there for at least 4 days. Might not see a live ball though after I work my way through the hospitality tents in the members.

I was thinking the same thing as i work my way around the public bar

Tickets are available for sunday and monday, so i might try and dodge a bullet and just walk in. With the general admission area, are we allowed chairs ?
