If you actually believe that using the term "idiot" in any circumstance constitutes an "unnecessarily stupid, childish, immature meaningless cheapshot" then good luck in the real world mate.

But unless you are working towards being a school teacher or an internet moderator, I suggest you change your fastidious, hair-splitting ways.

If you can't see the irony in whingeing about moderators when you don't bother to report abusive posts, and respond with childish and immature one word answers, then I'm not the one with the problem.

I'm doing just fine in the real world mate, I'm on the verge of completing a business degree, have a steady job and am in the process of buying a house. I'm happily married, have great friends and family around me and I'm leading a happy life.

I'll give you some real world examples. Employees whinge about thier employers all the time, doesnt mean they should necessarily report them to a higher body, its just not cool. Same thing happens on the footy feild with players and umpires. Players dont go running to the AFL umpires committee when they dont like a decision.

Similarly, I think reporting an offensive post is quite pathetic, I would much rather highlight in bold a contradictory or non sequitur argument and type "idiot". Its an fast and efficient way of making them look the fool they are.

But seriously, how many times have you directed minor insults like "idiot" at others. I would think thousands if not millions, so get off your high horse in that regard please.

If my employer was doing something illegal or against a set of rules by which they were bound to operate I'd have no hesitation in reporting them to a higher authority. I'd consider myself a coward if I didn't
