Remember there was a prank with van Berlo and Ricciuto and the Alma Hotel with an obsessed fan?

I seem to remember their being an amount it would cost for the foxtel show mentioned previously. Possibly it would cost us more if the company didnt have a crew here I dont know but I would probably prefer the club put a bit more money into the production value of the stuff they already do and cover a bit more, maybe turn the podcast into a regular video podcast or something.

I would start by having a microphone facing the media in the press conferences, hate having to turn my speakers up to hear the question then back down to listen to the answer most of the time.

Pretty sure I heard Vlad say that the AFL wants it's own channel by the time the current TV deal runs out. Would imagine each club would get it's own dedicated show.

Thank you! You would imagine that it would be important to hear what question was asked before you hear the anwer, but apparently the AFL/Seven think this is a crazy idea.

I think the figure was $500,00 per year - it was offered by Fox to all the clubs and only Collingwood and Essendon took them up on it.

Our club gets way too much free media coverage in a two team town to be bothered paying half a mill for a little bit more.

I think that was the Ch 7 show to rival the footy show when Ch 7 got the tv rights back. Lasted like 7 weeks before it got canned due to woeful ratings. Straunchie was host.

The only problem with having a mic face the media is that after every win all of the sound would be drowned out by Rucci crying in the corner

I played footy with Nikki's brother at one point. Poor guy used to cop it.

I recall a day she showed up at a game. Some of the second and third efforts in front of the section she was watching the game from were super-human to say the least! More than one mark of the year attempt in the general area too...
