This is one of the great mythical rivalries

It's pedestrian and antiseptic
Except when both are up and about as in 2022 and we had an electrifying epic. It's simple. When both teams are finals contenders the rivalry is fierce and the atmosphere unmatched. In the 60's, 70's, 80's and parts of the 90's it was the best rivalry. Name two other rivalries where the same doesn't apply. The Derbies are awesome, but they too have their share of duds, especially in Perth.

The competition is so average this season. There’s got to be one team that’s just above average.
This same crap gets spoken every year. Your mob swept all before them last year and were considered an unstoppable juggernaut. A few months later and you think they are bog average? The Pies, Lions, Cats, Hawks, Dogs and Crows are all very good teams. This is no different to most seasons and better than some in fact. Perhaps we should return to the era of the 80s when two teams had a monopoly on the grand final or the period when the Hawks won 4 flags in 8 years and almost 5.

People have such short memories. And last year the grand final was a stellar example of tough, tight, high level footy on the biggest stage. (Sarcasm warning for those who missed it.)

Isn't he likely off to the Saints?

While the jury is still out and I think he’ll get to the Saints myself….
Someone posted on our board that they know DK family members.
They said the interest for TDK to get to Cats is there.
Make of that what you will, whether it’s truthful or not I’m sure we’ll find out in coming months.

I usually take what people say on our board with a grain of salt unless they’ve got runs on the board.
Some have been proven FOS but there’s absolutely people who post there who are close with the team and or players.

Whether it’s family, friends etc. as I said, grain of salt.

If they're going to have 20 teams they'll need some type of comp split after everyone has played each other once.

These games tonight are abysmal. Way too many spuds running around.
I hear this tired line every so often. It's such garbage. The bottom sides of today would smash the equivalent teams of yesteryear. You don't know the definition of the word spud unless you lived through the 60's, 70's and 80's. Even North, the Eagles and Richmond, the cellar dwellers, have loads of talent on their lists-they just happen to be kids at the moment. This happens when the gap between the time they need to become mature players, and the experience of opposition teams is too big. Both teams tonight have 7-8 best 22 missing as well.

Hey m9 good to hear from you again. Moving those goalposts ten times a day must be tiring. :$
MR is getting even more miserable, at an increasingly rapid rate. Old, tired, bitter. Honestly it's kind of depressing to watch. :( He used to be a lunatic, but a somewhat lively and entertaining one.

The game was paused for all of 1.5 seconds while Nick cleared out of the area.

Of course Cunstall and sooks like you make a mountain out of a molehill about it though 🙄
It’s AFL football, that sort of contact happens ****ing 30+ times a game in a marking contest, the game shouldn’t be stopped for something like that. But I guess that’s the way he’s been taught by his dad and the club, and he gets away with it.

There might be another day where he tries to stand up and take another contested mark (probably not) and gets cleaned up by a ruckman, the game might have to be called off completely if that happens though due to a corkie or something, so I really hope not!

Kind Regards,
Fitzmagic

Tom Mitchell what an addition.
Behind N Daicos had the most score involvements and possessions per minutes played.

27 possessions 69 % game time 9 score involvements 84% disposal efficency.

Daicos BOG 36 possessions 88 % game time 13 score involvements 63% disposal efficency.

Would of had the most effective disposals on the ground as well.

If the stinking little shit copped a knee in a marking contest the MRO really should have a really close look at that.

The owner of the knee should be charged for failing to break at least 3 of Daycare's ribs. 😁
This is why they shouldn't let the over 80s in nursing homes use their phones after 8pm.

Be careful, you can’t say anything bad on this forum about Collingwood just like the media can’t criticise or make truthful statements about Collingwood players, the club and their uneducated fans really get there backs up and their feelings hurt if you or any of us do. But keep going I love it!

I do want to say one thing, and I don’t enjoy doing it but I have an apology to make to Darcy Moore. I wrote him off at the start of the night but he had a good game, to keep Zac Williams to 3 goals before he went off injured and then to move over to Franki Evans and keep him to 2 behinds for the game was a bloody good effort by his standards and i sincerely apologise to all those I effected by making such statements.

Let it all out from 14th on the ladder buddy.

No need to shift goal posts to catch Daycare out with only 34% of the selfish little shit's shots at goal being on target this year. 😉
