"we see the sheer comraderie and love and affection towards Ward from Lachie Whitfield in a intimate uniquely human spectacle of compassion"

This round saw some pretty gritty comebacks, dominant displays, and a few blowouts. The Pies look unstoppable, while Freo’s resurgence is real.🤞🏼 The Lions keep winning without impressing, and Adelaide made a big statement. The Bloods and the Demons (21 pts!) struggled, exposing their flaws, while my beloved Tigers are showing promising signs! 🤩 The finals race is heating up, with the multi-bye rounds set to shake things up even more!

LIKED: Callan Ward inspiring his team to win from 28 points down , Nasaiah Wanganeen-Milera another great game
LEARNT: Sidebottom at 34 could come close to being a dark horse for the Brownlow , The Crows are a ****ing good football team , Sydney are cooked
HATED: the unspoken rapid decline of Pies favorite Will Hoskin-Elliott at age 31 been pretty sad to watch him struggle this year , Callan Ward's career all but over after a ACL tear in his right knee what a loss for football and GWS absolute star

This is why media interviews are a joke now. Players will just be cliche and say boring comments it’s a complete waste of time. Show a little of personality or honesty and the media try to pile on.

Swans were a rabble. I’m sure Swans would say that too. So what’s the problem? Upset Milera was honest?
Yes player interviews are so so so so so so boring so proud of the guys they are a great team we had to bring our best blahblah blah boring i watch the game they are players at least Milera was different give him a medal yahhayahayuh

MagpieExcalibur:.... what a fantastic team mate and clubman Callan Ward has been for GWS, they don't come any better and yeah it was bloody devastating to see him do his knee but the 3/4 time address to team mates, given what had happened to him and knowing that his career was probably over and then for the players to get up for him was truly magnificent and inspiring, such was the love, respect and admiration for him by his team mates.... and in the end for anyone that's played footy that's what it's all about. And just awesome to see Sidey performing so wonderfully well at his age and in his twilight years, so much class and so highly skilled is Sidey with his left foot kicking 'elite'..... and Nasaiah Wanganeen-Milera what a 'jet' he has become and an awesome player to watch!
