Courtney Johns will have several Colemans and Pearce will have won several Brownlows. Collingwood will still fail to win one and everyone will still compare sides with brisbane 01-03, though no team will probably win even 2 straight prems

When i think of the possibilities of the AFL in the year 2020, I get excited. This is my prediction for the league and Football in general.

-Kangaroos re-locate to Gold Coast and merge with Southport FC in massive succussful move, becoming the Northern Kangaroos, winning 2 consecutive flags and getting a re-developed Carrara Oval capable of holding 40,000.

-Hawthorn becomes the Tasmania Hawks, but still under the 'Hawthorn Football Club banner' and become the powerhouse of the comp from 2008-13. Aurora Stadium is boosted up to 60,000 and all of Tassie is behind the Hawks.

-St. Kilda will finally get it right in a few years and win a few flags and be regarded like the current Sydney team thanks to super coach John Longmire.

-2 more teams are included in the league for an 18 team comp. West Sydney will have a team, aswell as a new WA team after huge success from West Coast and Fremantle. That team will be known as Perth Football Club.

-Subiaco will become Perth's home ground, whilst West Coast and Fremantle are treated to a new state of the art Stadium capable of 80,000.

-Telstra Dome will be more liked as the AFL gains ownership of the Docklands complex.

-The Grand final will be shown at night as the AFL crumbles under broadcaster pressure. The Night Grand Final is the biggest rating sporting event in Australian history, making the league the biggest code on this side of the planet. at least 10 million tune into the game.

-Western Bulldogs use Darwin as a second home ground, playing 4 teams a year there with the newly constructed Marrara oval capable of 30,000.

-Canberra becomes the forgotten football city as NSW, QLD, TAS and WA come alive with their new clubs.

-Carlton, Essendon and Collingwood all do well winning a few flags, but are considered inferior to the new Victorian powerhouses in Melbourne, Richmond and St. Kilda.

-the NRL is dead and the AFL takes over Sydney and Brisbane.

-The A-League expands and becomes a huge force, with new teams in nearly every state. Thousands turn to the A-League as soccer predecesses Rugby as Australias number 2 code.

-VFL, WAFL, SANFL become bigger with more interest and get usual crowds of between 5,000-30,000 to games. Teams in Warrnambool, Gippsland and the newly forged Fitzroy join the VFL with huge following.

-AFL in New Zealand, South Africa, Papua New Guniea and Japan reaches new heights with massive support and dozens of AFL players.

Not all correct but some accurate predictions:
- Hawthorn to become a powerhouse (actually 2008-2016 with some ups and downs)
- New stadium for Perth (should have been 80K)
- A-league increased popularity
