latest update i’ve seen from ross about the xbox update today

I'm a PS user but It's shameful that the only communication xbox users have received all day, is Ross choosing to have a go at someone's post on X. Instead of providing a professsional update on the matter during buissiness hours. Xbox owners are owed that much at a minimum.

The amount of “Big Ant Angels” over on their forum is utterly sickening.

The gall to tell the annoyed Xbox players who have bought a $100 game 5 days ago and still can’t play it to “just relax” and “be thankful”…

Watched gwsharpey play today, the game looks like mental torture.
Just so many things go “against the human player”, all seemingly to find shortcuts/cheats to keep the AI in the game is mind numbing.

My personal favourite torture device is the fact that we constantly see the advice “stop sprinting if you want to stick tackles” - yet the AI full sprint into every perfect tackle, I’d argue somewhat teleporty in nature.

Appreciate GWSharpy vents his frustrations about the broken game in real time with no filter.

The gall to tell the annoyed Xbox players who have bought a $100 game 5 days ago and still can’t play it to “just relax” and “be thankful”…

Watched gwsharpey play today, the game looks like mental torture.

I personally enjoy the game but the whole ‘stop sprinting to tackle’ thing in AFL23 was an absolute joke
Imagine Pickett sprinting half the field for a chase down tackle only to start jogging because he’s about to lay his hands on someone…
In AFL26, you don’t ‘need’ to let go of sprint, you just have a higher chance of giving away a free which I think is good for balance
But yeah, AFL23 got it wrong big time

Gotta respect their dedication to complain yet filter and remember to brown nose because they’re scared of having their comments deleted . That said, this is/has been Big Ant to a T. They’ve never delivered anything on time or as advertised since they got the AFL licence back. 3 patches in as many days on Playstation and again, Xbox becomes the forgotten console and these muppets still dont feel they need to provide updates to their customers.

Considering the last patch (or was it the one before that?) completely broke the AI, the approval process probably has to start from scratch because Big Ant are incapable of doing anything right (other than blaming everyone else for their own stuff ups)

It's a summary of everything that's wrong with their communication.

You could lay out a post like:
"Feature A is missing. When will it arrive?
Feature B doesn't work.
Feature C was promised Monday and never arrived.
Feature D crashes the game.
Will Feature E be in the game?
And how do I perform Feature F, it's a little unclear."


And the reply would almost certainly be "We never promised Monday."

Much like how 50 valid questions get ignored on that forum but then someone mentions a deleted post and that gets a reply. Their focus is in the wrong spot.

Btw for anyone finding fatigue to be "broken" - you just need to monitor it better. I set all my training to rest for 2 weeks and everyone was back to 100%. Will now resume training but more rest focus and monitor it closer. Honestly love that this is in the game but would like it to be easier to manage with better training options and UI prompts when fatigue is reaching critical levels

This is the world we live in now. No middle ground with stuff. Admittedly there's a shit tonne of negativity and repetitive criticism of things on the internet, but I'll never understand the "why watch if you can't say anything positive" or "no-one is forcing you to buy it" crowd.

It's possible for someone to enjoy something but also be worthy of criticism. Zero reason to defend businesses so blindly.

I've done the same. The default training schedule has players training just about every day, which isn't reflective of the real world anyway, where they only tend to have 2-3 sessions a week depending on game scheduling.
