I'd thought I'd spoil myself with my 2nd prize winnings last week with 4 entries this week. First aim is to always break even!
Too early too say how we're all doing, the Adel v Melb game will provide a more clear indication.
Taking a brief look through a few teams though there are a lot of common players.

Nuh finished 3rd. Not too bad with a missing player though.

It's all about getting your low priced players correct I reckon. Best 'value' by far is in the rookies or cheap players. Don't have enough time to put much thought into my team this week unfortunately.

Neither, I havent done anything yet, and will have to do it tonight.
This week is such a gamble too with players being rested etc.
 
Had pretty much stopped entering teams in the individual game comps but I was bored so entered two tonight.

Had a 30 point lead at half time and led for the entire 3rd quarter before both my teams finished off quietly. Ended up 4th and 6th so quite happy in the end despite the choke.

Didnt really nail my captain selections with Kennedy and Jack but had the majority of the high scorers. Interestingly, my team that finished 6th had Grundy in it and he scored just 21.

Entered two teams in the round game with a solid score from Birchall in one and a Birchall/Kennedy combo in the other.

Didn't pick Scotland this week luckily. Got Swan as captain.
 
Somehow got 9th place despite missing out on the huge scores, Ablett and Libba were my best. Enright, Sidebottom, Masten = shit.

You guys know if they'll keep it going through the finals? Don't see why not. Lots of people will be looking for their DT fix.

Pretty much dead last in the port game :p
 
fyi, i finished 1st in the round game for round 23, and upon reviewing I noticed it was only listed as a $1000 comp. Their T&C's clearly state that a round game for the 2013 season would have a minimum of a $2000 payout. I had sent a email about this and luxbet rang me today acknowledging the error and have since doubled the amount into my account. Not sure if this was applied across the board to all who finished in the money, so you may want to have a look

they have officially changed the clause in their T&C's now to say $1000 guaranteed minimum for 2013 round games. i was contemplating emailing them again as that's bait and switch...getting customers to sign up for $2000 guaranteed minimum for 2013 round games. however, i suppose they could simply not offer a round game at all if they wanted to get around it.

They must of thought they were going to get more people playing then they have. I still think it's good effort by them to be guaranteeing any prizes knowing that not enough people are going to enter to cover it every week.

I've thrown in two teams for tonights game, c'mon big captain ROK

I entered 2 teams in each game and 1 for the round. Haven't checked my round game but I gave up on that after Friday night because I had Hannebery, Mumford and O'Keefe.

The Saturday night game ended up alright considering I lost a player with a quarter to go. Ended up 6th and 11th.

I think I ended up about even for the weekend. Wish I could say the same about the rest of my betting lol
