I think generally speaking brisbane are a strong team on paper v geelong. They have a better midfield and a good defence. The qualifying final was the anomaly rather than the new norm, if my read is right. If brisbane forwards get supply from the mids, and brisbane can keep control of the ball via uncontested footy, lions should win.

Geelong will want to keep it contested until the break forward. Stewart out is a huge loss. Big question is can danger play that well again? He was the difference last week but he was very fresh. I suspect he will be sore after that massive effort. Did the cats show their hand in the qualifying final? Does this give fagan too good of a look at what the cats did and how to topple it? I think it does.

I get so pumped fro Grand fInal day.

All week I've been thinking I don't get and now I wake up and I'm genuinely excited.

Very keen to see the Lions go back to back. Not only do I like them more than Geelong, it's also something Geelong just can't do.

Cats got them badly 3 weeks in a Scott masterclass but those cards are now known. So let’s see how the Lions respond. They did beat Cats twice earlier this year.

Lions have the superior talent, Cats have the superior system. I’m tipping system to prevail but think Lions are a very good chance to win if they’ve learnt from 3 weeks ago and don’t let their talent be clamped out again

Annoyingly whoever wins jumps 1 ahead in flags since turn of century. Prefer it be Lions of course

Think Lions are the better team but im concerned they are running on fumes and are bashed up .
Picking Neale makes sense but is a huge risk .
Cats are fresh and couldnt have had a better run in bar Stewart out .
Theyll need Danger to back last week up , if he does theyll most likely win...possible comfortable

Can the Lions zippy small/mid forwards impact enough - theyll make the Cats nervy , if they get into the game Lions win it
