There really should be more haiku about AFL footy.

I heard some people on Facebook do an AFL grand final haiku competition, on game day.

Sounds like it would be a bit of fun, maybe on those years when I don’t like either of the teams in the GF.

The main problem with the idea really is that I despise Facebook.

Anyway, here’s a pretty sketchy effort I came up with when the Brownlow was on:

Brownlow night -
The tails
WAG the dogs

PS. Obviously I don’t really buy into the “haiku should be three lines, 5 syllables / 7 syllables / 5 syllables” stuff, but each to their own.
