Noticed quite a bit of activity on Geelong Cats supporters Fb page and went this post on the AFL's Fb page, which says

"Long Suffering Demons"
Melbourne prepares for its longest week: http://afl.to/Y73gqh

and proceeds to ask ppl to vote on how many games Melbourne will win in 2013 -

"Fill in the gap: The Dees will win __ games in 2013."

99% of responses expressed how appalling it was to belittle Melbourne Demons and the AFL replied to my Tweet criticising them with -

"@AFL: @Kuvlotik Hi. We saw the post as a genuine question to ask while the club/team is a talking point. Not something negative or belittling."

BTW, My Dad was a Melbourne supporter, who took me to the VFL every weekend in Sydney, I follow Geelong.

Anything that can slam a club they are all over. Disappointing this has come from the AFL site too. Expect this from the HUN or The Age but not from the AFL site itself.
