If there going for realism. They hit it right on the nail perfectly. That's the point of the cover, to show the realism of the game from a real image. Nice job tru blu

i dont think they did a bad photoshop job. perhaps they saved money on cover art and invested it on 10000 monkeys at 10000 typewriters...

The player itself is fine. The markings on the footy looks unnatural, but that's only because I'm a real nit-picker and take notice of the little nuances.

It is a legitimate question as to how such an average player has made the cover. Maybe they think Sydneysiders are more attracted to it if there is a Swan on the cover but Melbourneites would buy it anyway?

If you wanted that then you really would need to go for Goodes.

I think he's a true champion that all would be happy to have on their shelves.

Yeah i dont really have a problem with having a swan on the cover, seeing as they won the flag, but in the last 2 years sam reid has played 32 games and kicked 38 goals hardly a star. Its just an underwhelming weird choice. I would have thought you'd just chuck buddy on it.

Maybe they don't want to put him because of the uncertainty around his future ? Can't put Buddy on the cover in a hawks geurnsey, release the game then he goes to the Giants a week later I guess.

I think Goodes is one of those guys that would survive retirement because he has been in top form in his last years, not many retire on top.

Yeah, EA released a new cover on their website which you could print out and replace the original with.
