I go to the footy *every* week, go to some interstate games, and have even have been with some Essendon supporters from this forum in fact, all of that and I am not involved in making an AFL game at the moment. No idea what your point is....

Thanks Ant, if I get the opportunity I'll certainly do so again. Once the other game is released I will have a lot more freedom to come on here and post (as said, out of respect to others involved in AFL LVE 2 I have not posted much).

We have a match coming up at Etihad, let me know if you're interested in catching up :)

Love your committment to this thread and understand your non-disclosure agreemment and have only one question
Why are TruBlu so quiet about who the publisher is?
My guess is because they are knowledgeable about the fact that WW is quite a disliked group among AFL fans

I'm not under an NDA with regard to AFL Live 2, it's more about respecting the parties involved.

The only issue I have is people thinking it's us making it.

Even if this game is shocking i will still play it solely for the career mode as i did with afl 2007 even that game was shocking

Do you really think BigAnt told Tru Blu they don't want to make an AFL Live 2? Like, just think about everything we know and have heard from Ross himself.

He stated that AFL Live was the starting point to future games. I'm sure he wants to ditch all that hard work and not make another AFL game...

Ross is being professional in saying that BigAnt and Tru Blu couldn't come to terms as he has to as the CEO of one of Australia's biggest devs, if he wants work, he has to stay amicable in the public light.

But let's open our eyes and realise that Tru Blu made this decision purely from a business stand point. They looked at BigAnt and AFL Live seeing that they either didn't make money or just barely made a profit and would probably be looking at similar for AFL Live 2. Then they looked at Wicked Witch, a smaller company that could pump the game out in less time and said that's the better option from a monetary proposition.

Good for Tru Blu's hip pocket? Sure.
Good for the customer? Unlikely.

Can you let us know if they stole your ideas for how the game should run (one button shot at goal etc).

Even if his considering it I'd speculate it's unlikely he'd say so on here for similar reasons to what HBK619 referred to. Wouldn't be great for the relationship with Tru Blu.

Was literally brimming with excitement now am completely broken after reading comments :(

So the engine will be completely different? The AFL live one just needed tweaks but was great.
 
With this new game will they include westpac stadium (nz) ??
 
This threads doing plenty o_O ....surely whoever is behind the game will reveal themselves and release some kind of screenshot or something to create interest amongst followers. Definitely not the same feeling of excitement / anticipation for this game as the original... Worrying

Choose a different avy, maybe one with a Saint Kilda player in it?
 
At the EB Games 2012 expo, Wicked Witch said they were showing off AFL. Seeing as that was in October, surely that was the iPhone app they were showing right?
