Also that statement is still ridiculous; the author doesn't seem to understand how games work.

Wat? Most people switch the graphics off? I've been playing all my games with graphics on! N'ahhhh I feel like a complete idiot.

Little annoyed we have to pay for something we were supposed to have paid for in the first place.
 
The price is about the only thing Tru Blu seem to be getting right imo. $55 on release was half price for half a game, If the DLC actually does improve it significantly and bring it up to the standard it should have been on release I'll have no problems paying $15-$20 for it.

Any guesses what the DLC will actually cost?

I'll pay it as well although I think the game was significantly more in most stores. Looking forward to it.

I hope the DLC fixes some if the gameplay issues, not just add some fancy graphics.
Also why wait until midseason? Every other sports game aims it's release for the start of the season! Only benefit of a midseason release is that you could adjust player ratings/positions, but they don't do that! There are still inaccuracies there.
 
Sorry if this has been answered but 133 pages is a lot...

1) How do you get players numbers not to change. it seems to swap the players model and number when changing their position in list management mode. (Has it been patched yet?)
2) Did the patch really say it plays theme songs after ONLINE matches... what about offline? It is a joke how there is no atmosphere or music pre and post game, even when winning the flag :/

This may be a little of topic, but could someone open a new thread on AFL gold for iphone/ipad. (I don't have that privilege yet:)I am new to these forums. I think they are working on a new release or upgrade to the current version. Would be cool to be able to give Wicked Witch/ Tru Blu some feedback. This game is actually very fun,(after you learn all the controls it is actually fairly advanced) takes about a week of play to get used to using the controls but it actually has lots of options, evades, fake passes, different types of kicks, you control when you want to try to specky, and with some upgrades could be an awesome iphone/ipad game.

I get theme songs, so they must have fixed that. Not sure about the changing of nos when you alter positions, but I thought it didn't allow you to do that with licenced players?
 
With this new(ish) update, when you take a mark, do your teammates and the opposition still just stand there with their hands on their di*ks not moving or making any leads? That was a gamebreaker.
 
Your teammates move, although I wouldn't say they take off like Riewoldt giving you a target. The opposition tries to regroup and man-up. Sometimes that means they crowd the area in front of you, sometimes it means they actually move from the area right in front and get out of the way, making it easier for you to play on. It's not ideal, but it's better, and playing on overall is a lot smoother.

When will they include national anthems with the players lined up in finals. And some form of celebration rather then a screen that says oh you won

The new DLC coming early 2014 should include this ( I would think that would be the bare minimum of what the DLC includes) if I'm not mistaken the national anthem is credited in the manual but I haven't heard it in game yet so I assume it's ready to be used in the 2014 update DLC.
 
Thanks for that freo16. Realistic trades will be nice as I have managed to score some ridiculous trades, eg Thornton and setanta for o'meara, swallow, pick 2
 
Hey guys does anyone know if players actually retire? I'm in the year 2017 and fletcher is still running around for the bombers ?
