AFL Live 2004 and PE PC problem. I need help!

Hello all

I'm probably the only one to experience this problem, but I may as well see if anyone has a solution.
Originally, I had to reinstall either version because if I switched my PC off and tried to load the game later, it would get the following error message:
AFLLIVEPE.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

The error signature read:
AppName: afllivepe.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000

I tried contacting Acclaim's support (which seemed to be US based). I got a response to direct to Australian support. Upon doing so (The US support gave me the "appropriate" email) I waited for a response... never came (been at least three to four weeks now).

If anyone has an idea of how to get around this problem, let me know. I have all the appropriate requirements (as in a supposedly supported video card, directx etc....)... but I may just have to resort to a new PC! Especially if 2005 give me the same probs when that comes out!

When I had a problem with Kevin Sheedy's Coach (hehe, what a stinker), I called them up in the phone book (not the line where they charge you) and they helped me through it.

You could maybe give that a crack?

If not............then I think you're stuck.

surpising that i had a similar problem with afl live 2004 when i first got it

a good ole formatting fixed that

1. Take the CD out of the drive
2. Bend it until it snaps
3. Never buy Acclaim products again
