I got it, and it is alright, but not exactly jump up and down stuff...There is no way that you can bounce the ball...and often if I try and kick quickly, the ball goes OOF. Maybe I just need to get used to it

It's a lot of fun with your mates playing on the same team and against eachother but I havent played enough of it in single player mode to make a judgement of whether it is too easy or not.

But as far as gameplay goes, it's quite entertaining. With future versions and more development the game will be very very good. Stuff like snapping goals, quick kicks, better AI, Franchise mode, more injuries, etc etc will go a long way to making the game very good.

Right now though it is good enough and enjoyable enough to keep you going until a new and improved 2004 comes out. Hopefully with a few improvements. But yeah, on the surface I am impressed.

I have the PS2 version of the game and to be honest am now bored with it. I bought Madden 2003 and am having twice as much fun.

I got the PC Version, and i havent lost a game yet, which isnt good.

Being Port of course, i chose to do a single game against Freo on easy mode, was up by 80 points at half time so quit that and did a season on Hard. Im 13-0 with a % of around 220 and have won my last 4 games by 89, 101, 163 and 80 points :(

Yeah same with me. Went a whole season on hard undefeated and won the Grand Final over Sydney by 102 points without them even scoring.... in 2 minute quarters as well. The novelty wore off fast and I haven't played it since. Hopefully the next version will have continuing seasons with trading and stuff.

I just don't think Aussie Rules is right for a video game.

They must grasp the concept of SLIDERS!

This will probably sound weird but I sometimes have fun playing the game but I can't stand it coz it ****es me off! Whoever made it is stupid. They didn't get the rules right for if you play the computer.

Example: If you are winning and the computer wants to catch up, your players seem to miraculasly dissapear and they have free players everywhere.

If you mark it inside 50 (this doesn't happen all of the time but most) it plays on without even saying it and before you realise your tackled.

Sometimes when you kick for goals and your winning the ball will be heading straight towards the middle and then all of a sudden have a huge curve and miss.

To make the game even worse they don't even have the words right to The Crows club song.

I must say very poorly made but can be fun if you are playing against someone because they can't cheat.

I'm not saying that I could make a better game. But for $100 you should atleast get a good game and in this case didnt.

if they can do it, why cant you? you said they were stupid.. a man of your intelligence should have a greater intellect than a bunch of lousy computer programmers.

I am not a man thankyou I am female! God you can't even tell that. I can programme computers I learnt it last year at school we just weren't taught to make games.

The player will automatically bounce the ball provided you DONT have the turbo button pressed.

Also, with the out of bounds thing, this will mainly occur when running down the wing, and trying to kick long inside the 50.....make sure you turn your player so he is kicking it to middle of the ground, else it will go out on the full a fair bit.

it looks like it would have been a pretty good game if they'd put another six months into it.
the AI is woeful, the videos are lacking badly
i was so disappointed when i made it to the GF and it was exactly the same as the ordinary games, except on the victory lap they carried a cup. with the same animation that was used for carrying the ball.
the PC port was the worst port i have ever seen. seriously, it was like they didn't put any effort into it at all.
first- it didn't work on my videocard- a Geforce 4. horrible display problems the whole time- i had to manually edit the registry to get it to RUN.
second- i have a keyboard, not a controller- why restrict me to four keys? let me customise the game.
third- why doesn't it keep track of player stats? half the reason i kept going to the end of the season was so i could find out if Lloyd got a hundred goals.
fourth- multiplayer. up to four players, three of which require controllers or joysticks? i don't know ANYONE who has more than one controller or joystick for their PC. internet/LAN play would be the normal thing, but failing that, why not two players on the keyboard?

seriously- if they'd put another six months into the game, it would have been excellent- as it was, it was woeful.
