Learnt - We get injuries even when having the ****ing bye.

Hate - The friday game. Horrible.

Hated - Seeing Mick Barlow break his leg again...seems like such a top bloke but just rotten luck for him

Learnt: 8 is likely settled. May be a tight season, but i reckon the current top 8 are in good form. Swans the only threat outside the 8
Hated: Barlow injury. horrible thing to happen to any player once let alone twice

Same here, man. It's tough this season.

But ultimately I'd rather a competitive season like this one rather than a snoozefest where the writing is on the wall early on and you can predict the premiers/weekly winners easily.

Hated: Thursday night footy is now giving me the shits, Geelong predictability playing and losing after BYE's and away from the comforts of home.

Liked: Buddy and Rance - media built it up too much but it was still a great contest, both of them in a class of their own and tough as nails, too.
Learned: Carlton's game style looked similar to Hawthorn's from its premiership years. Perhaps they play like this all the time, I wouldn't know. I don't often voluntarily watch Carlton.
Hated: Barlows injury, the Swans comeback and, it almost goes without saying, the commentary.

Learnt - Dog are GONE and not liking being the hunted one little bit.

Hated - Barlow and Jong seriously injured. Some things are just not fair.

Learnt - Brisbane are going to be very competitive in 2 years if they stick with Fagan and keep players.

Hated - Geelong's effort, missed oppurtinity to stick with the top 2. Never won an interstate final so top 2 a must this season if going to win flag.

Learnt

- Whoever wins a few in a row is likely to make the 8!

Hated

- Split rounds are boring on Sundays especially.
- Barlow's injury.

Learnt - Port are in for a tough second half of the season
hated - I feel for Richmond and losing another winnable game (4th or 5th time this season)

Learnt: Melbourne should make finals, Gold Coast continue to tease, Bryce Gibbs was worth keeping, Sam Mitchell should go on, Brisbane are on the right track but need more class

he bye rounds are terrible. they need to go back to what they used to do.. have a split round for round 12. half the games 1 week.. the other half the next week.
