Eagles and crows will be a close game. Eagles should win in a close one.
I don't have the exact stats right now but Cats go better in the first half. Lions are slow starters (not last week)

Sydney are favourites (53%) at home, and West Coast are at 62%. Everything needs to go right for Adelaide to sneak in, so the chances are the game will be a dead rubber.
On a different note - some may have noticed I had a non-statistical thought on the blog last week that the Bombers couldn't possibly win. I guess that goes to show how you shouldn't bet subjectively! I noticed a few people on here were loading up on Carlton, too!

Can't believe pies are $1.80 fav to win first qtr against north. North are one of the best first qtr teams along with hawks and swans. Even at MCG they should get this done against a slow starting pies unit without ball and beams.

I think west coast will win. Last two games have been misleading. They beat the suns at home 4 rounds ago. And with two players retiring and woosha wanting to coach on, they will really try and win this.
I highly doubt Freo would risk losing form and confidence just to rest a few players. They will beat the saints, and right now they are UNBELIEVABLE value.... here's hoping

I tried placing 2 bets, one on Hawks and one on Geelong at the same time.
Didn't work, both got rejected.
Oh well, as long as Geelong don't get bundled out in a semi-final, I don't think I will lose any money (if I choose to hedge that is)
