Finally, after being delayed repeatedly, the round 24 fixture has been released.

We play on the Friday Night against the Cats, giving the two best teams in the competition the maximum rest leading into the finals.

Sounds fair, though no doubt the haters will not see it that way.

You have to reward the team that finishes higher on the ladder, where fate necessitates that a situation can't be kept equal in the circumstances eg who wears the clash jumper, longer rest, home ground advantage etc etc.

Dissapointing that it looks like it's going to be another dead rubber, unless cats are fighting for a top 2 spot. Would that mean a home final for them at skilled?

Can't believe how many hawthorn supporters actually think they won last year's final round due to ability.
