Originally had $60 in before round 1. Was up to $900 odd.

Now sitting at $300.

I was ganged r*ped in the prison shower by the bookies.

I know that I was their bitch for this week.

But I will live to fight another day !

One good lesson I have learnt this year, there is no certainties. Not that I didnt know this before, but some strong hard and harsh lessons learnt!

I knew there would be one or two upsets this week, so i stayed away from the likely ones.

Just had Dogs over 15.5, Swans over 15.5, Pies over 39.5, Freo over 15.5 and the Cats straight out.

Bloody Geelong.

Yeap lost every single bet on the footy this week, bookies r*ped me, the tennis and EPL my only saving grace this week but wasnt near enough to come out on top

Not that anyone wants to hear this, but I did okay this weekend.

Avoided the Dees v Lions, Hawks v Roos, Syd v WC and Cats v Blues game.
Small amounts on Pies v Dons.

Went with the outsiders on the Crows v Dogs, Port v St Kilda and Tiges v Dockers games.

Would have been a fantastic weekend if the Dogs could have beaten the line on Friday as had quite a few 3 way multis involving these teams.

Edit: Also did quite badly in tipping the over/under match points this weekend.

Nice call on Carlton adii. I agree, they are a good side this year. Not sure about top 4, they have a few teams to get past but @ $7 it is good odds. If you like them then $1.85 for them to make the 8 looks big overs.

Had an ok weekend, was on Bris 1-39 which lost but I came out just in front after I backed North at the line.

Carlton winning further consolidates Hawthorn's position outside the 8.

Kind of annoyed I didn't have more bets, was going to back Melbourne and Carlton at their lines and wanted to get on Collingwood as well. Too bad, not trusting my instincts enough.

i managed to win this round by backing melbourne just before half time @$1.40 and North at quarter time @2.60

lost on my early hawks bet, geelong and the bombers

i think i'll have to not back hot favourites early anymore, renouf and corey going out late both screwed me royally

it seems no team wants the pressure of being premiership favourites

well if hawthorn had of won i would have had a nice weekend with my first bet a 4 legger paying $13. 3 out of 4. Chased my tail with the Cavs then rolled the rest into Cats and Manly double yesterday, double fail. The horse racing at Randwick seemed easier to pick than the footy for me on the weekend for me personally with 4 winners.
