AFL Supercoach Finals

I notice that the NRL Supercoach crew is running a separate SC comp during the NRL finals series. Prizemoney of $10k, picking a squad of 7 players & $1.4m salary cap. Your top 6 scorers earn you points & the 7th is an emergency. Unlimited trades each week of finals.
I recall this happening a few years back with AFL, not sure if DT or SC (or both).
Has anyone heard if AFL will do the same? Give us coaches who have had a bad year, renewed hope.

Dream Team used to have a finals series but it was really random and the top prizes were also pretty average (you won tickets to next year's launch of the AFL or something). I think they stopped doing it 2 years ago.
