I’m looking to either find or create a tabletop trading card game for AFL with some depth to it - something like Magic the Gathering or Pokémon cards.
The AFL has a few types of official trading cards, and the TeamCoach cards have some VERY simple rules for playing some basic games with the cards. But there’s no depth to the games and they feel quite tacked on.
Does anyone know of any more complex gaming systems using established cards, or another trading card set that has interesting established rules?
If not, I’m keen to build a very unofficial and therefor very unmonetized system for a more interesting tabletop card game. Either with its own card sets or using existing cards. Any game designers around here that would be keen to lend input id love to hear from you.
Thanks gang!
