Very much so.

Watch the crowd on Friday night. Essendon fans will easily outnumber Collingwood and Footscray fans on the night.

The players are as one.

The player parents based on the statements by Tim Watson and the parents of young Crameri, are very pleased with where the club is.

And former players are coming out as well.

Such as this from Andrew Welsh:

Gee Welshy has shown himself to be a mental giant, stay of twitter dumb arses, footballers should be banned from it

Yes, being asked to prove accusations you make. Woe is you.

So whether or not Essendon are cleared, you're quite satisfied with the corporate governance at your club?

Actually don't bother, I can only imagine the pathetic excuse of a response I'll get.

You should work at Essendon.

Apart from obvious trolls, I am yet to see anyone claim that as a statement of fact at all.

But I have seen plenty of Essendon supporters claiming....No proof...no dice. It is bullshit.
Lack of proof does not mean something's been disproven.

k :thumbsu:

No. But when people state "Essendon are drug cheats" as a fact, why should we just let that slide?
I hope you don't have me in mind manwithnoanawers because I never stated anything along those lines as fact. You continually avoid answering my questions.

If you cant deal with hypotheticals or can't offer an opinion, I suggest this thread and BF in general may not be for you.

And without BF dunno what you're gonna do given your bombers will be on holiday for a couple of years. That's a joke by the way, hope you can get your head around that concept.

Poster X: Essendon/hird did this.....

ManwithNoName or some of the equally Zealous supporters: Proof??

Poster X: Not proof but...

ManwithNoName or some of the equally Zealous supporters: No proof equals no dice. Your are a idiot.

ahem....

NOBODY HAS ANY PROOF. NOBODY!

actually that may not be true, im sure the ACC knows a lot more than we do at this stage.
they asked clubs and players to come forward, they are giving them time to do so...
if those clubs and players dont come forward and co-operate fully then lookout!

Surely it was obvious that I was referring to the BF debate in this thread?

But I do agree. This line of thinking by some that the ACC is totally incompetent and that this is just a political exercise is laughable imo.

Proof will come. For who, we do not know as of yet.

I have said elsewhere that questions can and will be asked about this from the MEMBERSHIP in due course.

But, I'm not expecting too many heads to roll either way.

This piece will be very close to the mark from what I have heard.

Non banned. Dodgy.

Not enough love for this post/article. Probably the only half intelligent thing said in the last 130 pages.
IMO is the most likely situation. What the punishment will be IF TRUE is anyones guess!!

IF TRUE everyone is telling the truth. Hird, Dank, the ACC but it all falls in a massive grey area. My guess would be no suspensions for the players but I would imagine the AFL would come down pretty hard on the Bombers.

''I don't think we should sugar-coat this. We're not talking about people who were taking nutritional supplements, a supplement dumbs down the issue as far as I'm concerned,'' he said on SEN.
''Who were those people? What were they taking? Did they have a prescription for taking it and if they didn't, what are the consequences of that?
''This is why ASADA needs to get to the bottom of this whole situation, but if indeed the allegations made by Stephen Dank are true … whether it's a breach of the WADA code is a very technical issue, but from a leadership point of view it's not a good look, is it?''

Maybe Malifice not so far off the mark?

While I agree that this is a good article, would player parents be happy if their sons were being injected with substances not approved for human use?

Yeah!
They'll ring your Mum.
They are sitting there waiting to see who flinches first.
If I ran an AFL club I'd organise a player/supporter lunch at the local oval and give the ACC the fat finger.
