After 43 years - Buffalo Springfield (again!)

The 3 surviving members (Stephen Stills, Neil Young & Richie Furay) reunited onstage for a set at Young's annual Bridge School Concert the other night

Stills is looking the best he has in years.

It is fair to say that it was one of the best line ups that I have ever seen at a festival. I love Buffalo Springfield in a way that I never cared about CSNY.

Neil Young, Buffalo Springfield, Elvis Costello, Kris Kristofferson, Elton John, Leon Russel, Modest Mouse, Grizzly Bear, Merle Haggard, T Bone Burnett,Jackson Browne, Ralph Stanley, Neko Case, Emmylou Harris. Incredible line up of talent !!!!!

Kristofferson, my absolute hero. Real renaissance man, Rhodes Scholar, singer, songwriter, actor, activist, the man can do anything and do a damn fine job of it. Agree about Stills too, must have finally got off the gear.

I did mean to mention Pearl Jam.

I remember when we arrived in Australia in 75, my dad got a Kingswood with an old 8 track cassette player and he only had 2 cassettes to suit it.
Shirley Bassey's Greatest Hits and Kris Kristofferson's Greatest Hits.

Been a fan of Kris since then and recently bought my dad the Essential KK for his birthday. He said that he has not taken it out of the player for weeks. He is a truly great artist.
