Well I had my reasons for not wanting to go.......... but than again I had my reasons to go aswell............ ah well there's training this week so we'll go to that.

Sounds alright. Usually no more than 3 or 4 players turn up to these things, so its good to see they were all there mixing in with the fans for a change. Im not suprised Lyon wasnt there, especially if there was no $ involved. Im listening to him on the replay now :p

Do you know if theyre planning on making the Hilton aftermatch a regular thing?

well most team go to the hilton at least once a year i think...although i can't imagine the Collingwood crowd there it was up in the ballroom very very nice perhaps the pies one is held in the carpark ;)

:confused:, last time I was at an aftermatch they were all there. I think the guys are more than happy to mix with the fans, I mean if you go down to training you can certainly see what I mean.

I was going to go to training today, but I decided against it. Should I have gone?

I couldn't make it either, but not because I don't have a decent fake ID (I've got a real one :p ). The same reason I wasn't at the game: busy.

And happy in hell, you're the only BigFooty member that needs a rimshot (that little drum-roll thingy) after every post!

Well I could have gone, I was gonna go..... I was at the tram stop..... but than I decided not to go (for reasons which will remain private :p) and here I am posting this and telling you all I didn't go coz I know how much you care! :rolleyes: :p

Well, I used to go upto the Medallion Bar function most weeks after the MCG games and they used to bring in 4 players max and 2 or 3 of them were from the reserves or the injury list!

I dont think it was an "official" aftermatch, but it was the best we had.
