Age catches up.

Watching the cricket and during the lunch break saw Simon O'Donnell and Tubby Taylor. Mate, they are starting to look old and this made me feel old. Im only 38. Took me back to when I was a kid and saw one Richie Benaud on TV. Thought he was an old man, but in reality it was only a few years after he had retired. I wonder if the younger people of today view SOD and Tubby the same as I viewed Richie.

I agree that SOD & Tubby are starting to show their age. It makes me realise I'm not that far behind. I'm 30. I'm starting to show signs of age myself.

I guess we all saw them playing into the 1990's so they are still fresh in our minds as players.

Yeah cricketers have been out in the sun most of their lives and it is well proven that sun damage ages you (even if they have been wearing sunscreen).

I worked night shift most my life, rarely been in the sun and I look ten years younger than I do. Those blokes can't go clubbing and pick up a 20 year old chick like some of us

Richie has more and more of the Monty Burns about him each time he's on camera.

Ian Healy in the VB ads has also added about 15 years since retiring.

as for SOD and TT well i havent really thought about how old they look, but i wish TT would shut the hell up for once, theres commentating, then theres him.
