Shark, that's different from your first statement where you suggest that "Shwabby may encourage". If Pav doesn't want to stay after it has been made clear he is required, then he would be traded. There is enormous value to a club having a champion player, and captain finishing their career with them.

That's the 26+ list. Of course there are names that we would miss badly. But the names on the under 26 list are not too shabby. Add in the new recruits and we have a decent list. And, Pavlich is still on the list.

Yes Gav I was unclear, certainly losing the arguement. When re-read it wasnt quite the intent I mean. By encourage I was more thinking along the lines of putting up less of a fight and letting things fall where they may.

It was more thinking out of the square and throwing a argument into the ring. Looking at it from a different direction from the usual keep a player at all costs tack.

I understand Shark. I am sure it would be something that would be thought about. It's what the decision is that counts. Would have been similar for some supporters at Collingwood with Tarrant I'm sure. Some times ugly decisions get made unfortunately, and as we have been told by CC, "No-one is untradeable."
