Saw 2 quarters today on a small screen with no sound among cheering rugby league supporters.

Seemed to be somes seriuos aggro towards the end involving Darcy? What happened to his head? And to Band'ys head and Birss?

#11 for the Cats didn't look too well either.

Darcy was getting pushed around a bit and Johnno was right in the thick of things. i think Birss either got hit by the ball or got an accidental kick...nothing done on purpose. I think Robbo got whacked behind the play. (unnoticed by the umps)

They were frustrated. But i doubt there will be any reports or anything.

Someone told me that Dace was reported. Didnt see any evidence of it myself but he and Graham went at on the boundary line for a while as well.

Birss was whacked with the ball. No-ones fault except his own.

With birssy it looked like he got knocked out with the ball.Poor boy didnt come back on after that didnt have a god day at all as he had previously spent the first qtr and abit on the bench he really didnt look took good coming off the ground either he was had bandadging as he came off the ground after the game

As for darc im not sure if he got reported thats all we need.

Dry Rot - the reason there was aggro towards Darcy was also the reason behind #11 for Geelong not looking too well. As a cat man, I was a bit p o'ed that only one of our players (plus Graham on the bench) gave Darcy the message that what he did wasn't right. With the umpires/reporting/tribunal system, it wouldn't surprise me if Darcy got let off/3 weeks/life. Your guess is as good as mine.

Thanks. What did Darcy do to #11? And what happened to Darcy's head?

I'd be more p o 'ed that a senior player like Ben Graham is gutless on the ground and only shows something when on the bench.

The incident was below me, heard a crack, not actually sure what happened. Don't worry if he's a bulldog player not from the elite he'll probably get suspended because it made a noise.

Clash of heads, knee injuries, sore heads and ******** moronic Geelong supporters are all part of the game...

Will Chapman get weeks for hitting Wiggins? Or did the Geelong faithful not see that?

Saw the Darcy - Corey (11) incident clearly. Darcy laid a heavy shepherd - Corey didn't see it coming. I thought It was his shoulder that got him high but it could have been a clash of heads (which would explain Darcy being sent off under the blood rule).

I didn't think the incident was reportable. The ball carrier was within a few metres. Corey just didn't see Darcy coming.

Whilst I don't think it's reportable, I'd like to see it again before I make judgement on whether it was reasonable and just unfortunate, or a weak act. I've been critical of guys like Rocca taking out unsuspecting players when there was no realistic chance they would be in the play, and I think there's a chance Darce may be guilty of that here.

I think there'll be quite a few bits scrutinised on the video review. Think Scarlett could be in trouble for stomping in the 1st qtr.

Are you talking pre-goal or post goal?

I thought the hit that caused the 50 was late but not reportable (not sure who it was). Again, I'm not sure who, but someone looked to land a nice right jab in Wiggo's guts after the goal (as retaliation for a Wiggo push).

Had Darcy not laid the shepherd Corey would have tackled the ball carrier. Corey must expect contact if he is that close to the action.

I just missed the incident, but I saw the result. Geelong player floored and darcey sent offblood rule. Guy next t me said it was a fair hip and shoulder and if their heads clashed (which seems to be the case) then thats just bad luck.

In darceys defence, Ive never seen him lay a real vicous byron picket style bump.

Yeah, if it were Sanderson, my point still stands...

Thought it was Champman from first glance
Obviously you had your Gilligan Hat was on too tight or covering your eyes.

I saw it fairly clearly although I was in level 3 and therefore a fair way away. It was a heavy shepherd nothing more. Depending on what the media do Darce mayy still hang for it though.

That bloke is pathetic. We had a guy near us telling Grant he was gutless and an underachiever, while Graham is..........
