Now the Crows are taking the youth policy this is the time to promote Parker with the Smart retirement and mabe having goodwin out for the season.We want to see what our young players can do.There's a start.

Yep if we can Parker is 1st on the list, 2nd is Andrews

Yep. Put Goodwin on the longterm injury list. No point on bringing him back this season, better to just get him right for next season, and see what Parker can do.

I think Trigg said they considered giving Goodwin the rest of the year off so his injury can settle. It wouldn't be a bad idea BUT you can't just chuck a player o the injury list. You have to prove to the AFL beyond doubt that he is very likely to miss the X amount of weeks.

If we don't place a player on long term injury list then we can't promote a rookie.

Andrews is a LONG way from being ready for AFL footy. I am surprised that no on ehad mentioned Hazell as the possible promotion because he has been most consistent out of the lot of rookies.

Andrews is to skinny but would learn valuable lessons, so would Craig. (can't help think of the glenelg guys)

Not sure if you guys know this or not, but Nigel Smart, being a RETIRED player, cannot be replaced by a Rookie coming onto your main list.

You need to wait till this season is finished before any retiring player can be replaced

Goody's injury needs a lot more rest than first thoiught.
