Brisbane supporters/ex-players/management aren't looking at this from a rational perspective of list management, which is neither here no there and I don't begrudge them their decision.

The point is taking a principled and emotional stand against losing 19 year olds every single year, whether or not their cutting they're nose off to spite their face.

Trying to appeal to logic is worthless, because it's an emotional decision - not a logical one.

Sorry about the Aish info, as I said it was unlikely and my source had told me this morning he was pretty surprised after Buckleys comments (im sure someone can quote it that Kruz would not be at Collingwood and Aish unlikely)

Aish and management actually contacted the club in the last 48 hours - after making up his mind he wanted to play for Collingwood.
People might not believe this but that's fine. I am just passing on my conversation from this morning.

I was told this morning that the Treloar deal is pretty close to being done which is good.
Although, we will need to get this done early as the Aish deal is going to be difficult.

I think I have given some pretty good info in the last 6 months some people will hate on it.
I have the source within the club who gets good info... He isn't apart of the coaching staff or list management team but is a key part of the club.

There's nothing there that everybody didn't already know, if you come up with Aish to the Pies on Wednesday or Treloar roadblock then you may have something but you're really just regurgitating yesterday's news.

If only a poster could say something along the lines of "I've been assured all is ok" or "it will get done" and people were happy with that.
Problem is everyone wants to know who the phuckin source is.
I don't need to know who the source is, just comforting to know deals will be done.

Nope. All trades have to be approved by the AFL now as fair value. In addition, Aish can always nominate for the ND if he wants to avoid going to a bigger basket case than he's already leaving.

I think your source is out of the loop on this one, it was always on once we felt comfortable the Treloar deal was likley to proceed. Targets have always been these two with us sniffing around Howe. Also Scout at EBW has also said all along that Aish was coming.

That said I do not think the Aish deal will happen, looking too hard and Brisbane have painted themselves into a corner. Our only hope is the AFL/AFLPA bring pressure to bear.
