SIGNIFICANTLY cares for new recruit immediately after drafting him. My dad loves telling the story of how, through Gavin Brown who he went to school with, managed to sneak into a 1990 premiership function.

He was taking a leak when none other than the great Darren Millane (RIP) pulled up next to him. He said "G'day Pants". Darren said "f*** off and don't speak to me again".

Said he was quite shaken and spent the rest of the night drinking with Alan Richardson who was apparently the best bloke you could meet.
