Probably that he has been wanting to get Sheed's out for years

1997 - Yes, Epis voted for him to be let go.
2007 - Yes, Epis still agreed to let go of Sheedy. However he did not make any move. There is a strong agreement it was Sheedy's time to leave.
On another point, did anyone see Sheedy's comment how he said he will leave with a bang, just like he left Richmond? Very interesting times ahead me thinks.
Anything could be read into that and not all bad - He left richmond in 1980, the last time the club has won a flag, this could be what he is alluding to. I hope like all bombers he leaves essendon just like he left richmond AFL/VFL Premiers
On the topic of Epis, I cant understand how he keeps getting re-elected, everyone says they will get rid of him yet he still manages to get enough votes to stay.
He is the master of back room polotics and he has always had a good bond with the players.
For the love of god...
My age old adage is proven more and more true each day. Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race.
Would you care to explain why we're voting Epis out?Your point?

He's a backstabber and has been for years. We don't need those types especially with next year being a fresh start.
You would be surprised![]()
Sam Lonergan would object.

What Epis did 10 years ago has nothing to do with now. I know for fact he wasnt running any secret campaigns to get Sheedy ousted. Yes he thought it was time for to him go, but so did everyone else.
Which begs the question, why didnt he get voted off in '97?
Sam is hardly a heavyweight of the playing group is he![]()
Ok. So would Matthew Lloyd.

Look im not going on with it. I know what i know and it wont matter anyway as the Kooka is going to be too old to stand again anyway![]()
