And another article on Alex: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-10-...hnson-prepares-for-fourth-knee-reconstruction
Sounds like they're still undecided what type of reconstruction they'll go for.
Whatever they choose, let's hope it does the job.
unfortunete really. you'd think if it doesnt go well this time he would give it away. and even if he didnt i couldnt see the club having enough faith in his body being able to recover sufficiently to give him another contract. heres hoping it all goes well this time round! This one needs to hold or else he is done.

I'm not a medical expert, but with the issues he has had you would think that the normal reco would be the better option.
I don't think he will play next year regardless, but if he recovers for next year's pre season I think would be the desired outcome.
No point fast tracking it.
There is really no rush he only turned 23 this year so its not like he is a 27yr old with limited time.
He has proven himself as a AFL player so he has credits in the bank, i think he is a chance to play NEAFL in 2016.

You been saying it for weeks , don't think you really know
Just hope he comes out of it alright. The op will be on Monday week, the type still to be decided, but believe a Hybrid Lars is favoured. The doc will be under a fair bit of pressure to get it right
What's the recovery rate on a hybrid mate? 6mths?The op will be on Monday week, the type still to be decided, but believe a Hybrid Lars is favoured. The doc will be under a fair bit of pressure to get it right
