Big rumours Alex Rance is making a comeback for season 2021. Pies would be stupid not to throw good $$ to lure him over. Settles our forward options with Darcy moving forward. The last 2 years at CHB Darcy would have notched a few more tools on the belt, and will no doubt be better for it at CHF.

I'm sure we'd be calling. Not sure if Caro is right about it, but it'd be interesting.

Would be funny if he went somewhere like North, but he'd be a great fit here.
It would have to be a big club. North from financial reports may not be around next year.

I think very rarely in history have players successfully come out of retirement.
Not many have done it.
Tim Watson came back and won a flag
Paul Salmon was a good pick up for the Hawks
Mal Michael drafted by the bombers. Stats wise had a better year then his premiership years at the lions.
Lockett - Failure

How long has it been since he’s played? by the time 2021 rolls around he’ll have essentially been out of the game for two years and will be 31 years old. You’re running too much risk, throwing good money at a player who, after so long out of the game, may not even be best 22, and could be significantly more susceptible to injury given his age and previous injury. Big no from me.

Yeah
You rekin I see moving Moore forward and a hamstring waiting to happen
Let him run straightanyone else notice he don't change direction quickly
Besides let him read the play
Besides we've got a great backline

Not to mention he wouldn't have been able to door-knock during Covid so his fitness would suck.

To help Loki understand
Moore's hammie's won't allow him to change direction on a dime
He plays a zone defensive style
He couldn't do 5 leads in a row (it's still a issue ,lots of scar tissue)
Pushing of numerous times in different angles
He also if you might have noticed plays accordingly running in straight lines
Coaches play him accordingly as well

So let's jepordise one strength we have

That always works well

That is not how hamstrings work nor is it an accurate depiction of how Moore plays. His strength is straight line speed, but I've seen him run on angles all the time. How do you think he gets from contest to contest?

Only so times I've seen a sudden change of direction with supreme effort
He's pinged it twice
I vfl 1 vs Sydney

You know he has tendons right
Stretching and changing direction under load is exactly how it works

Might have something to do with the 3 years of physio and specialist work out into the kid from 14 years of age
His inability to get on the park as a kid
The hip issues

All connected
All fct

As many of his hamstring woes have come as a defender. You're aware of that, right?

Darcy himself has come out and said that over the last 2 seasons his routines have changed dramatically, and voila, no more issues

It would have to be a big club. North from financial reports may not be around next year.

Last financial year figures I think had St Kilda in more debt and relying on more cash from the AFL than North. But circumstances may have changed.

Either way I think you could relocate North to Tassie and move/merge the Saints and the competition wouldn’t be the worse for it.

As for Rance... with smaller list sizes coming up.... it’s a firm no for me.

He's a quality player and I doubt, with some time off, would have trouble getting fit again.
He's a superior athlete.

I'm not willing to pay up for him, but on balance, I'd rather us chase Ben Brown as more of a fit for our needs.

When he retired I was told by a former Richmond player that he’d be back this year. Then COVID happened. I reckon he’ll be back at the Tigers next year.
