They are made by Dell and are expensive. Why not just stick with a Dell?

Very overpriced, You can get the exact same specs in a Dell or Asus a lot cheaper.

I do agree that they look cool however

Please I beg of you, never buy a laptop because "it looks cool" infact never buy anything just because it "looks cool"

Alienware is the master of using neons and pictures of aliens to lure in people who don't know much about computers and then charge them ludicrous prices for everything.
