(how many of those games have you actually heard of? I'm guessing not many.....)

The ONLY conclusion I can come to (having played many games on every console in the past 15 years, except for the N64) is that you have no idea.

I suppose you also believe the Sony and Micro$oft bullsh*t about the PS2 and Xbox being the first consoles online......

As for Gamecube, it may be losing the race currently, but it is by no means anywhere NEAR being the worst console ever. (hell, the best games of the year on ANY platform - Viewtiful Joe & F-Zero - have just been released on it! You really are clueless, aren't you?)

N64?

Well, I never got into it, but even that had it's fair share of good games.

Mate just because i think there the worst consoles doesnt mean that your opinion is wrong for f***s sake. Ive heard of a lot of those games and played many to but they are all out on other consoles. U probably have a little to much time on your hands to know as much as u think u know about all the consoles of the past 15 years, and to get so defensive about a topic which is just an opinion of someone who may or may not be a games freak, i play my fair share of games and own a ps2 but i also have a life and dont think so strongly for or against a damn console.

DC and NES are the best 2

XBOX > CUBE > PS2

Why?

XBOX - Decent Graphics + Xbox has the better sega games + easy to modify.

Cube - Has better graphics than xbox and small although take forever for new games, only little variety, and no gun ffs! The NES had a gun!

PS2 - Just finishes last, graphics are poor, although good variety of games and GT is good

Dreamcast - GOD, its technology is much advanced for its time, although oldish now but still isnt that bad and yes it does look better in sum games than on the ps2 You should hail this console forever just like NES

Halo is not technically that impressive. Style-wise though, it has a definate "look" to it which is what sets it apart from other similar games.

But from a technical viewpoint, it doesn't excite me as much as say, Outrun 2. (which I pray will come to Xbox.....it's arcade only at the moment)

I'm another who hasn't played Halo since I finished, other than system link with 16 people. And whenever you do play system link, the framerate dives below 10fps regularly making it almost unplayable.

It's still a great game, but me thinks you're deluded as to how good it really is.

Your Halo slows down? Mine has never ever slowed down, I would have noticed it and being annoyed. Not even in 4 way multiplayer has it slowed down? Dont know whats wrong with your XBox.....

Oh and it's only a 1st person shooter? What other games are there? There are your sports titles, FPS's and TPS's. Thats it!

Some of my favourite games were on the Dreamcast.

Soul Caliber rocked. PSO was addictive as hell. Crazy Taxi was great fun. Shenmune was different enough hold my interest. NBA2K etc...

Great console... crap marketing.

SNES is most probably the real all-time great though.

The Dreamcast was an insane console, IMO it was the best of them all... but... it was not marketed well enough. There was little hype about the system, which caused a lack of sales... producers were less willing to produce games for a system with no sales, so it faded out. If more people actually played the system, they would have realised that it was an awesome machine with insane games!!! I was devistated when the DC went out of stock in my local Harvey Norman store.
