Alter Bridge - Blackbird

Anyone given this a listen yet? First album was pretty average but they have followed it up with a fantastic effort, much heavier too. Tremonti has taken his playing to a new level and Myles Kennedy proves once again he has one of the best voices in rock today. The man doesn't get comparisons to Chris Cornell or Plant for no reason. So far all the reviews have been extremely positive too, good to see them get some recognition.

gotta love alterbridge!
their first album was as good, shouldnt get recognition just from this one. but overall Alterbridge seem to be attracting fans with the talented music they play

His range is incredible, at 37 he has really taken care of his voice over the years.

VERY VERY good album. One of my favorite albums outside of Aus in recent times. My fav song is definetly track 6 with Before Tomorrow Comes. Rise Today is also great. Alot of good songs.

The best voice in rock guys.... No doubt about it

Been an Alter Bridge fan for a while now. Pretty much since they first started. One Day Remains is better than Blackbird IMO. Both are fantastic albums for sure but ODR has more captivating songs and a better mix.

I dont know about Blackbird being harder either. ODR had a few slower paced songs I guess.

Blackbird, the song, is one of my favourite songs ever. What a powerful song. Easily the best off Blackbird.
