Cats reflect on strip change

Geelong has submitted three potential "clash" guernseys for AFL approval, but will not launch any new strip until next year.
The Cats asked Slazenger to design alternate strips after the dark and light blue jumpers they wore against the Kangaroos last season prompted a backlash from supporters unable to distinguish between the guernseys, on television and at the ground.
The three designs were sent to the AFL last month, and once approved will be taken to supporter groups for feedback.
Geelong chief executive Brian Cook said the Cats would wear the blue-on-blue jumper in their only "clash" match of the season, against Collingwood in round 15. "I don't think there will be enough time for us to make a decision between now and when we play Collingwood, so we'll wear our current clash jumper for that game," Cook said. "But we're looking at it."
He said one of the new designs was predominantly white, while another had smaller stripes than the traditional strip and the third was "actually not much different from what we've already got".

The design in the papers showed a Cats hooped jumper with the blue hoop half the width. What do we on the board think of this. For me it would not be hard to improve on our previous efforts so somethiing like this would be a move in the right direction
