Some of the finest East Fremantle products.

Yes, and it's good to see these blokes getting in some practice matches in at the elite level. At least a couple of them would even be in with a serious chance of finding their way back into the Sharks lineup.;)

Ah ha that expains why when you ask a kid who his father the mothers usually reply, "My EX".

That's actually funny.

What sins did you commit in a past life to be in Meeka?

Spent some time up that way about 10 years ago working in the Collier Range national park - beautiful area but you wouldn't want to get lost out there in summer.

Thank you EX, I thought it was one of my better efforts.

Must have been bad whatever it was. lol
Seriously I like it here. I grew up in the country and have had stints in Perth & Brisbane and worked out I am not a city person. Nice place to visit Etc but I find it a bit claustophobic.

Who were you working for? I used to drive a roadtrain to Telfer just about every week back in the late 70's early 80's. One trip I chucked the governor weights off the fuel pump at 11.25 pm Saturday night just near Braeside Station (Abandoned). No worries I thought I will call up on the RFDS Radio and get them notify the boss which they did. Only problem was he just got home from the pub and said "Yep right. I sort it out" and promptly went to sleep and forgot all about it. About 4.00 pm Sunday the RFDS man called me back and asked if I had heard anything (which of course I hadn't). So he rang the manager who said "**** I forgot etc" but he sent the boiler maker up with another fuel pump. By the time he got to Warawagine he had run out of tyres and ended up hitching out to me with a donkey shooter.

So all in all after spending 3 days without a shower in 40 degree plus heat I stunk to high heaven.

I was spewing that it didn't go for another 10k's as then I would have been at the Oakover river which was flowing about 3 feet and is truly one of natures most beautiful spots right on the edge of the desert.

But you are right it is not country to go into unprepared.

Good work fellows. It is hard to take the first step but some of you have done it more than once. ;)
