Amusing signs

Due to poor English skills, here in Thailand there are many amusing signs. Today, while browsing through some kitchen displays with mu wife, we came upon one that made me smile.

The model kitchen was decorated wit artificial meats and vegetables, all prepared and ready for the pot.

A large sign was attached to the side of the display. It read. "If you love cooking, and enjoy excellent food. You must have a good tool!

I'm still trying to find out what a good tool has to do with fine food.

I remember the sombre War Memorial at Kanchanburi (River Kwai).

A gallery of wartime statues, from Churchill, to Stalin, etc etc

Albert Einstein was there, for his e=mc2 formula, which was the basis of atomic energy, and the bomb...

The moving plaque went on..

"On August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. Over 80,000 people were killed...in a jiffy!"

Couldn't help myself, and had a laugh, when actually it's so sad and serious.
