Even when you get a response back it's not from him, it's from the PR department with his signature.
Or at least I really HOPE it's the PR department or his personal assitant.
If our CEO has nothing better to do than respond to random supporter emails then we are well and truly f’ed. Because he clearly isn't actually doing the job of being a CEO in that case.

I have been a Crows member for a long time. I'm very level headed and don't go off based on emotion (well not too much) and in my correspondence with the club am always professional.
I have sent Fagan two emails. The first was mid 2018. Fagan responded, we spoke on the phone and discussed. All I will say now is that everything I said and suggested was proven correct.
In August 2019 I also emailed Fagan. I raised some concerns over club administration and club culture. Fagan again responded.
Yesterday I thought about emailing the club to express my concerns over the inexperience and ineptitude of our football department - in particular surrounding list management and negotiations. So I went back and read Fagan's last response to me.
The following statements from his response stood out;
"considerable internal awareness"
"My experience together with the vast experience around me, together with metrics right across the Club clearly demonstrate that a lot of things are done exceptionally well"
I didn't bother sending another email. Those statements tell me the club is absolutely deluded. They genuinely believe they are at the top of their game, despite all external evidence suggesting otherwise.
Congratulations Crows, you have broken me. I don't care enough anymore to invest time and energy on you. I have zero faith you can turn anything around, or that you even think there needs to be anything turned around.
I'm done.

I can be 100% confident that both responses came directly from him.Even when you get a response back it's not from him, it's from the PR department with his signature.

I have mixed feelings about it.Really not a good thing, is it?
I dunno, both times he's responded to me it's been at 8-9 at night, so I'd assume he was doing that in his own time.I have mixed feelings about it.
On one hand it is good that he is willing to engage members. I know that he will respond to people who are respectful and intelligent in their emails - but will ignore the raving loonie messages.
On the other hand, does he have time to do that?
I guess if he never responded to anyone, we would be claiming he's stuck in an ivory tower and has no idea about what the average punter thinks.

It is technically a 'club', so responding to members is actually something that is required. No different to the committee of a small sporting club responding to reasonable correspondence from members. Obviously it's a bit harder, but I would expect that there would be 4 broad categories of incoming correspondence that would be read at a level below Fagan or another appropriately authorised person on his behalf
1. No response - Aggressive, abusive, genuinely not worthy
2. Canned response - Reasonable, but not articulate or specific enough to demand a personal effort or sheer incoming volumes necessitate.
3. Fagan signature but not his words - more articulate and specific than 2, but no connection with the top office.
4. Fagan actual response - Past or present connection with the top office deemed important enough
I'd agree with all that. But lets face it, nearly all BF posters would get to level 3 at best.
No-one here has the clout or influence that they should qualify for 4 given the size of our organization. Unless we have a few board members for major sponsors here which I'm doubting.
Also I'll argue that technically we are NOT a club. We call ourselves a club but we aren't, we don't fit the definition.
We are a non profit organization pretending to be a club.
The pretending part is where we respond at all. Off the top of my head, I'd say Feenix, macca23 and Jen would get a genuine response from Fagan due to past interactions.

Looking forward to this guy coming out of hiding in the next few days. He'll want to take the credit for our draft haul, as well as a mention about pre-season training and the upcoming AFLW season.
Doubt we'll hear about the five year plan though, nor anything about Smart leaving.
The lack of disclosure about the Smart departure is interesting. Esports such a huge part of our financial strategy and yet we don't officially announce key management departure.
Lame duck leadership.
