oh my you dont know :eek: he is a player for coburg and i think he is good as well.

He can play, but is another smaller mid. No doubt he could develop nicely, but would be fighting with Foley, Edwards, King, Conners etc. He may be worth it as a late rookie pick but not much else.

I think we have greater deficits to fill first and although i am not great fans of either, maybe Neville or Silvester would be better suited as they fit a need in terms of filling a position. Other names to consider if we where to go for a smaller mid and guy's who i think are better players are Logan Hill and Nick Carnell.

Sam Robertson may also be a good option as a key back, or Jason Morgan (Lids cousin). Morgan showed a bit late in the season, but broke his leg in one of the last few games, this will probably go against him. Robertson captained the reserves side to a premiership, it was the captaincy that i feel stopped him from playing more senior VFL games as his form was great all season.

Sam Robertson was playing coburg ressies wasnt he.
On the other hand andy played mostly back pocket and midfield and is a gun. If you watched what he did against rose from willy you will see. Kept him to 1-2 goals as he tagged him from foward pocket got liek 20 dis and kicked a great goal. SHhould have been drafted last year if he was 5 cms taller and wasnt in such a good draft. Worth a rookie at least.:thumbsu:
 
Yeah Robertson struggled for a game late in the season, even when we were very light on for key defenders. Not a good sign.
 
Robertson was given the two's captaincy early in the year based on his great leadership skills, as a result he was left in the 2's to continue in this role. If he wasn't given the responsibility early he would have played a lot more.
 
Horne's not that great. Wouldnt go for him personally. Other potential at Coburg I'd be looking at before Horne.
 
Yeh i think he is a goer but not sure if we need another player in that ilk. Lets keep them big our rookies and lower picks this year. Look at WCE list for example all there players that are waiting are around 190cm. So i'd prefer a bigger player but NOT Sylvester he doesnt cut it at all for mine.
 
Who is the full back of Coburg who is supposedly the "heart and soul of the team?" Can't remember his name, is it one of those guys mentioned in this thread?

the only coburg guy id want is neville, can win his own footy and is a good size id have him as insurance in case cogs doesnt come up
 
Carnel >>>> Horne imo

We should look to pick up Carnell and Neville this year, and just use all our picks after pick 2 on Key position players

Ronaldson is the guy that they refer to as being the "heart and soul of the team". He's the captain but plays in the Ruck.

You may be confusing him with Sylvester.

Ronaldson and Sylvester are probably the biggest two guys at Coburg.
