Just because people don't agree with it doesn't mean they hate Mackie.To say Mackie is the 2nd best decision maker in the last 20 years does seem an amazing statement from Williams.Surely someone like Scarlett is a better decision maker than Mackie.

Exactly JJ. Laughing at the people jumping in about the so-called "hate". This thread has nothing to do with hate - its the call from Williams that has Mackie atsthe 2nd best decision maker in football in the last 20 or so years...come on, you have to agree that its quite humorous...

Yea I don't disagree, I'd take Scarlett with the ball in his hands coming out of defensive 50 over probably anybody in the comp

So have you only just watched the last month of footy, or just try not to remember the first few months?

He was just as bad as 2010 form - soft, ineffective, and unreliable. The last month however, he has been great and I hope he keeps it up.

Hate to be the voice of reason here but Choco is a premiership winning coach and former player at the highest level. He probably has a reasonable idea in regards to players and their ability.

Perhaps looking back, Mackie has played some of his better games against the Power when Choco was at the helm and left a lasting impression. The Power did chase Mackie pretty hard a year or so back and as a result he signed a 4 year deal at the cattery.

Does that mean that Choco has no idea for big-noting and chasing him or we have no idea for signing the bloke to a 4 year deal???
