Has anyone got the footage of his goal against the Pies a few years ago when he stripped Reid of the ball hard against the boundary in the forward pocket, somehow twisted out of there with the ball in one hand, and dobbed it?

If he was played as a forward, Andrew would have been seen as a very good medium sized fwd. He thrived playing fwd and so did the team. Like Henderson, MM ruined the players confidence by playing him in a position he was less suited to and he as an individual and the team were lesser for it.

Really sad time of year when players we have all ridden the highs and lows with finally have to succumb to the inevitable. Must be very sad and scary for these guys as they have to enter a very different life and world than what they have been used to since they were teenagers.

Walks you were an excitement machine on the ground and in the air. In full flight you were a sight to behold, quick, balanced and graceful. 200 games at this level is a fantastic achievement. Despite injuries cutting you down you played through the pain and were a true Carlton man with a highlight reel that most would envy.

Good luck for the path ahead and thanks for all the wonderful memories. Walk off that ground Sunday arvo with your head held high!

Well done 1AW...love watching him play when he was up and about...blitzing down the field, played really well under Ratten, that mark really was a highlight, dogged by injury unfortunately glad he sticking around the club for awhile...

Get a win Blue Boys do it for AW!!
