I've read that Essendon are entertaining the idea of a Welsh-Tivendale swap. First of all, I don't believe anyone at Essendon would be stupid enough to consider this, but if they are, I would take a Cole-Welsh swap in a second.

Surely this would be a better result for both clubs as Cole is ten times better than Tivo.

Dunno about considerably. He is on recent exposed form, but that's not what you're buying with Cole. Your coach knows he has an upside which would dwarf all others in your team.

If Cole can get his head and body right, the sky's the limit.

Welsh won't be traded unless we get a great offer. He's contracted so we're not in a position where we have to trade him. Eventhough Welsh for Cole is a better deal than Welsh for Tivendale, it's still a long way from becoming a reality. Sorry Pies fans.

All I'm saying is that if they're considering trading him for Tivo, which I doubt, they should take Cole instead because unlike Tivo he can actually add to the team.

We don't need Andrew Welsh...similar footballer to Nick Maxwell, except Maxwell likes to play on his man and have a contest. We got Chad Morrison last year in Trade Week, who also plays the same role, except is more valuable. Welsh hardly plays with an opposition across half back, and Morrison plays his best footy doing that, whilst Morrison (who can't play tall though) does a great job in the middle tagging. Morrison wasn't in our best 22, so why should we show interest in Welsh.

Why did you reckon I said that it is not going to happen. The main reason I said that was because There is no interest with Essendon for a fair trade for Cole, besides a draft pick.

Yeah, i was being sarcastic, but looking back, it actually is hard to spot the sarcasm, so i see where your coming from. Dyson is a great up and coming player who hopefully won't be the fringe player he has been over his career.
