Second game in a row he has stepped up when we looked in trouble. Another gem putting their hand up down Punt Road:thumbsu:

ha ha Who was the fan behind me at the G today screaming at the top of their lungs every time Andy had the ball, "OUR SECRET WEAPON! OUR SECRET WEAPON! OUR SECRET WEAPON!

From the tone of his voice I thought he was going to leave mess all over the seats.

Understandable. :thumbsu:

I don't think they knew that he was knocked out. Because it's pretty common knowledge that you don't go up and drag up and unconscious person.
Nah i get they didn't realise but the fact that so many players got to him to try and keep him going after he took such a hard hit is so indicative of how this team plays and works for each other. Something i have never seen at the tigers in my lifetime.

When we got knocked out, about 8 tigers players got over to him. Tried to help him up and keep him going, probably not the best thing medicially but just tells you something about this group of players IMO.
Exactly, that proved how close this group of players are, and do care about eachother.

Luckly the trainers were quick to help him out.

At the time, turned to a mate and said we ****ing need Andy in the FL in the heat of the last quarter and low and behold he again did what he does best, was in the right place at the right time and more improtantly nailed them. Me thinks we have our dead eye dick tigerheads. This kid doesnt miss to many when he gets the chance. Our next Robert Wiley. Super smart operator who knows how to lose his man, when his man takes his attention off him for a split second.;)

is a bit like rob wiley isnt he or Matt Rogers, he's a great little player, has great anticipation, always racks up possies, great in the air and dead eye dick shot for goal...I like the boy:thumbsu:

Now there's a sharp-shooter from our glory days...Collins was a bargain - pick 73 from 2006 ND, which also netted us JR, Connors and Edwards (as well as Carl Peterson) - our Recruiters did get a few things right in the TW era

You got that right! If there was one thing that tells us the Tiges are going places it was that passage. All his mates around him trying to help him. They're playing for each other and that's a powerful force. Dimma is emphasising this stuff whether they're winning or losing and you can see the effect. Great stuff.

Played a ripper & quite rightly getting lots of love for his last quarter heroics but I just wanted to acknowledge an earlier piece of pure class play...

Outer wing late in the first qtr... Collins under pressure getting squeezed towards the boundary line but delivers a superb 40M lace our worm-burner pass onto Jacks chest... resulting in our 3rd goal.

Class... Class ... Collins Class... :thumbsu:

Last week I thought he looked as though he crossed the line in the sand in the make it or break it stakes.

Like his acumen in the contested mark area and if he becomes a forward threat that is a real bonus running forward.

This kid is definitely worth the time and patience

Collins reminds me of a Aron Fiora in the body proportions and movement stakes. The difference is he has the mass on his frame.

For some this can be all the difference

I hope he can establish himself and keep bobbing up with his 2-3 goals a week. Uses it extremely well. Roachy highlighted that kick to Riewoldt which was delicious.

Must admit - had my doubts about Andy - but he was very good in the middle of last season and i was fully expecting more improvement this year - So far So good!
