Gutted for him and us, but obviously mostly for him. In his good knee too, he must be feeling like absolute crap. I wish him all the best in his recovery.

Doubt he'd retire as he's only 25 - albeit he does have University qualifications (Commerce from Adelaide Uni IIRC) so it's not like his AFL career is the be all and end all. But even if he doesn't return until the start of 2016, he's a popular player and the club won't delist him.Gone the traditional reco, won't be back before 2016 if at all. Sad news
Quality post, keep them coming, good positivityFear it's the end of him.

He's contracted until the end of 2015 so I guess they might offer a one year extension to give him a chance in 2016 to regain his form and fitness.
Awful news, and if his recovery is anything like last time he won't be up for much in 2016 either.
Big decision for the club to make. Can they make the tough call if it's what's best for the team going forward?
Would have thought LARS would be a good option if it was available. He's contracted next season, would surely need to play football next season in order to get another one. It's play next season or get delisted. A traditional 12 month recovery from Round 20 doesn't leave him much breathing room.Has now ruptured both ACL's, first the left one and secondly the right one. Good idea to avoid LARS. An ACL can be 9 to 15 months out. Good luck Andy.
