I realise this is a delicate subject and I guess I'm interested in how others feel.
Angelo has had a stroke. Surely he will/should never play again.
Should the HFC pay him out and promote a rookie?
Possibly give him another role at the club?

yeah i'd say so. he would probably retire as soon as his contract was fullfilled anyway since it's such a serious risk.

i think we should wait and see i am hoping that he can come safely back into doing what he loves but if he can't hopefully he can take on a teaching role for the young players etc

This is a tough one and I think Binxy24 may be on the right track.

Although you would leave the final decision to him you wouldn't want to send him on the paddock and have something happen.

But I'm no medical expert and you may find that after a complete recovery he can go for it. I think that education of the supporters on the issue should be paramount before he is put back onto the ground.

if lekkas retires at the end of the year which is possible , ( not nice to see any player go because of injury ) , the hawks are going to have quite a few spots on the list to fill..

and quite a bit of cash to land some quality list toppers...
