Another AFL live thread - graphics problem

Anyone got any ideas how to correct the above 'effect' (no, not the clever 'balance the ball on the shoulder' trick either )


I've got an athalon XP 1700+ with a GEforce 4 MX 440 GPU. the problem occurs inconsistantly. sometimes worse, sometimes not at all.

Looks like a graphics card driver issue
Have you downloaded the latest Detonater drivers for your nvidia card ?

Get them from here

Yeh, they were up to date anyway but I reinstalled JIC - thanks though

Had a little luck by reducing colour depth to 16 bits. But as its intermittent I'm not quite declaring a win just yet

Another easy solution...stop using something that isnt primarily made for games. Buy an XBox!
