Basic Rules:
At the beginning of the game each player is given a 'role' at random and in secret (via PM) by the moderator.

The aim of the Villagers is to identify and kill all of the Mafia, Werewolves, Vampires and Independents before the evil factions can kill enough Villagers so that (# of e.g. Werewolves = # of Villagers). Only one faction can win.

How are players killed?
Each 'turn' of the game will last approximately 24 hours and also represents one 'day' of game time, thus a game will go on for several days before it is concluded. There are two 'phases' to every turn of the game;

Night Phase (7:00pm – 11:00pm):When evil factions secretly decide among themselves, via PM communication, which Villager (one per night) that they shall kill and then inform the moderator via PM. Others with a Night action also enter their actions now via PM to the Mods. Decisions for the night phase are to be in no later than 11pm.

Day Phase (11:00pm – 7:00pm):After the results of Night actions have been announced, everybody discusses and ultimately votes publicly in the game-thread upon which player that they shall lynch and kill. Votes for the day phase are to be in no later than 7pm.

Obviously during the day the Villagers will want the group to vote for and lynch an evil player, whilst the evil players themselves will want not to be lynched; herein lies the fundamental strategy of the game:
Can the Villagers identify the evildoers whilst at the same time convincing the rest of the group that they're not evil? And can the evildoers convince the group that they're not evil at all and thus avoid being lynched?

Werewolf Etiquette:

There are two main rules which everyone must follow in order for the game to run successfully;

DEAD PLAYERS MUST LEAVE THE GAME
If you are killed at any point during the game then you are no longer allowed to participate although I will allow a farewell post, but that post cannot impact the remainder of the game.

THERE MUST BE NO PRIVATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PLAYERS EXCEPT WITHIN THE GROUPS LISTED BELOW
Except for the below-mentioned groups sending PMs between themselves, other forms of private communication concerning the game are not allowed.

Anyone caught quoting PMs from the mods will be mod-killed without warning.

For this game we will not be using the Reason for Lynching rule.

For this game we will be using a 4-post-per-day average rule.

Voting:
During the Day Phase players must vote for who to lynch, your vote must be formatted in bold like this: Player Name.

Upon the voting deadline (end of day-phase) the votes will be tallied by the moderator and whoever has received the most will be lynched and be out of the game: remember, once killed you cannot take further part; do not reveal your roles to anyone until the game has been concluded.

Any ties in voting will result in a multi-lynch.

All win conditions are as normal - for evil factions they must be the last remaining evil faction, and equal the number of good players. Note the Alternate Win Condition below under Items: Dragon Balls.

Players are strongly encouraged not to out other evil factions if they face death. Whilst I cannot make this an enforceable rule (as players will likely only do this when dying) all I can do is strongly encourage players not to go against the spirit of the game.

The Doctor will protect their target from death only. Doctor(s) won't be notified if they're protections were successful.

At my discretion days will be sped up, however this will only occur if every player has voted, and the number of players is 10 or less. In this case, an hour grace period will be declared and then a Deadline will be declared. This is however at my discretion, and normal deadlines may still apply.

Good

Students of magic (flogs): Three young magicians in training. If two or more survive until N3 they will get a choice of a seer or kill.

Fortune teller (seer): Can find out the role of one person per night.

Phony fortune teller (Jobe): A scammer who acts as a fortune teller to big note himself, however has the best interest of the village at heart. Can seer a person a night and will be fed random, incorrect info. Thinks he is the real fortune teller.

Healer (Doc): Has the ability to magically heal a persons wounds, can protect one person from death per night. Will NOT be told if his healing was successful or not.

Magician (Vig): A sorcerer who can make things and people disappear, can rid the village of one person per night.

Medium: Can communicate with dead folk and acts as a communication platform +between dead and alive. Due to this role there will be no dead PM, but a medium chat. Due to PM limitations, villagers who die early will not be accepted into the medium chat until a mod is present. Medium can relay any thoughts or info taken from medium chat to the village.

Shape shifter: A magician who can transform himself into any of the above roles if that player is killed. Can only transform into one role throughout the game.

Standard folk (villagers): Have no powers and can only vote.


Evil

Sorcerors

Head Sorcerer (Godfather): An evil magic mastermind head of the evil group of sorcerers. Gets a kill and seer per night. Is immune at night.

Deputy sorcerer: Becomes head sorcerer when the head dies.

Silencer(Intimidater): Can curse a player into silence. When cursed, a player must only post in textless images/gifs/emojs for the next day phase.

Trainee evil sorcerer(thug): Assists with nightly kill.


Werewolves

Alpha wolf: Head of the group of vicious werewolves out to destroy all of humanity. Gets a kill and seer per night. Is immune at night.

Beta wolf: Takes over as alpha when alpha dies.

Role blockerer: Can block one player per night.

Cub: If killed, the wolves get an extra kill.

Both factions equal or outnumber the village and kill other evil to win.


Neutral

Evil wizard (serial killer): Obsessed with power and will kill anyone who gets in his way. Can kill one player per night. Is night immune and seers as villager. Must make final four to win.

Witch: Can control any player per night to target another player. For instance she can control the seer to seer a player of her choosing and will find out that persons role. Must make final four to win.

I'll play.


Have amulet but no arsonist. I don't understand the point of the role? Vamps create something different, but Arsonist..?

Don't tell me how to run my own game

:p

anyway there won't be an arsonist.

Or an amulet for that matter

there will be a few different roles as well
